RESILIENCE, FLEXIBILITY, REINVENTED WITH SILICONE

Textrov® Silicoat by Supertech Fabrics offers high-performance silicone coated fabrics engineered for fire resistance, thermal shielding, and mechanical endurance. Developed for use in infrastructure, mobility, energy, aerospace, and industrial zones, silicoat fabrics deliver low smoke, long service life, and certified safety where it matters most.

WHY CHOOSE TEXTROV® SILICOAT?

THERMAL RESISTANCE AND U VALUE
  • High-temperature resistance: Continuous exposure to 250°C (482°F), peak up to 300°C (572°F).
  • Low-temperature flexibility: Remains pliable down to -60°C (-76°F).
  • U-Value of 1.5–2.5 W/M2K. Special formulations can enhance these properties.
FIRE RESISTANCE
  • EN 45545-2 (Railway Applications).
  • ASTM E84 (Flame Spread Test).
  • FMVSS 302 (Automotive Fire Resistance).
  • EN 13501-1 (European Fire Classification).
  • NFPA 701 (Standard Methods of Fire Tests for Textiles and Films).
  • BS 476 Part 7 (Surface Spread of Flame Test – UK).
  • UL 94 (Flammability Test for Plastics & Polymers).
LOW SMOKE AND LOW TOXICITY
  • ASTM E662 (Smoke Density Test).
  • EN 45545-2 (Railway Smoke & Toxicity Standard).
  • NFPA 701 (Textile Smoke & Flammability Standard).
  • ISO 5659-2 (Smoke Density & Optical Obstruction Test).
  • IMO FTP Code 2010 (Marine Fire Safety).
  • Non-Halogenated Composition – No chlorine, fluorine, or bromine, reducing toxic fume emissions.

CHEMICAL & SOLVENT RESISTANCE
  • Resists corrosion, acids, alkalis, fuels, and industrial solvents.
  • Does not degrade when exposed to harsh chemicals and oils.
SUB-ZERO TEMPERATURE FLEXIBILITY
  • Remains flexible at extreme sub-zero temperatures (-60°C to -76°C).
  • Maintains elasticity & mechanical strength, ensuring long-lasting performance in harsh conditions.
VIBRATION AND IMPACT DAMPENING
  • Flexibility makes the material extremely good for flange-to-flange vibration arresting.
  • Noise-dampening acoustic insulation.
  • Impact-resistant.
