Constructed from a high temperature base filament/texturized fiberglass fabric which is then coated with highly reflective polished aluminum.

The aluminum foil coating melts at  660°C, however it does take some time for the aluminum foil to absorb enough heat to melt, thereby it can withstand short exposure to the higher temperatures. The basic fiberglass fabric is 550°C, while adhesive will burnoffor vaporize at temperatures above 148°C.

6K, 5HS Weave Carbon Fiber Fabric

With twice the fiber density of 3K fabric selections, the 5-Harness Satin Weave builds quickly to form lightweight structural applications that feature virtually no flex. Its unique satin weave features carbon fibers bundled and woven repeatedly to float over four bundles, then under one. As a result, the fabric is flatter and more easily draped over the most complex shapes, especially compared to plain or satin weaves. Because of its unique satin weave, one side of the fabric will look different than the other. Fabricators will usually invert half the plies when looking to produce a symmetrical laminate.

Unidirectional Carbon Fabric (305gm)

305GSM, 0.35 Thick, 12K Standard Modulus
This unidirectional fabric is non-woven. Consequently, there is no crimping of the fibers and only minimal binder is used. Polyester fill threads on one side further reduce crimp potential. This results in the highest property unidirectional dry reinforcement available. Unidirectional fabrics add strength in only one direction. To maximize the strength of this carbon fiber, use an epoxy resin system.

Its pattern will not affect the ultimate tensile strength or stiffness. This fabric must be used with a resin. To maximize strength properties, use an epoxy.

12K, 10x10 Carbon Fiber Fabric

This brawny, 12K carbon fiber is a bold, hardworking version of traditional plain weave, with every thick yarn of fabric like a glossy brush stroke. Its high-contrast surface features both brilliant highlights and contrasting deep, dark shadows. Choose Grandmaster for projects that require a robust appearance, perfect for the hood of a car, a motorcycle fender, or snowboard. The 12-K, plain weave of the Grandmaster will keep it from being as conformable to complex shapes as a lighter fabric. This fabric must be used with a resin. To maximize strength properties, use an epoxy.

STF Ceramic Fabric is made from alumina-silica ceramic fiber, free of asbestos. These fiber materials can be used in different industrial applications under temperatures up to 1282°C and have excellent chemical stability and strong resistance to thermal shock and corrosion attack. Inconel wire / SS wire and fiberglass filament are incorporated into the yarn to increase tensile strength of the fabrics both before and after exposure to heat.

Loom state Glass Fabric contains spinners binders applied during yarn production to protect yarn from hazards during weaving operation. This binder is not suitable for many applications. Therefore, whenever needed, binders are removed under carefully controlled time & temperature conditions and then treated with appropriate coupling agent called Silane to bond glass with different resin systems.
